LaChocotia Fair Trade Organic Peruvian Cacao

Minimally procesed, nothing added or removed, 100% Cacao. Ceremonial grade.

After the harvest, the cacao beans are removed from the pods, fermented for 5 to 8 days, then dried. The beans are sorted, cleaned, pre-roasted, de-shelled, broken into nibs, roasted and finally ground to a paste which is deposited as medalions and cooled.
